Stevens County Historical Society
About Us
We are the repository and exhibit space for a small county in West Central Minnesota. We are the art museum, natural history museum, and area museum. We are also home to the national art exhibition "Horizontal Grandeur". This will be our 4th year and we had 93 submissions last year through our website.
Our Mission
to Collect, Preserve and Interpret the History of Stevens County, Minnesota. We are all part-time and volunteers and so sometimes, we try to do more than we should.
Why We Need a New Website
We really need to format the Horizontal Grandeur portion of our website so it is self sustaining and easily updated and changed. The site just has the catalog on it now which I built with tables. Next week, the php form portion goes live and I can't seem to get it to work properly with our inhouse emails. The paypal payment emails have to go to a different email address so that we get the notification.
How Our New Site Will Help Make the World Greener
We won't have to print as many hard copies of the brochures and mail them out.
